Ministry Teams
Buildings & Property
Identify and facilitate property and grounds needs. Make recommendations to our Church Council plans for the care and repair of the physical property of First American. Also, monitor the insurance coverage for the building and grounds.
The Buildings and Property Team meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. Attend a team meeting to find out if the Buildings and Property Team is right for you.
Care
Fulfill God's mission of care and love supporting our church family and reaching out to those in the community. Activities include welcoming visitors, sending cards to members, facilitate the church brochure and directory, sponsor Confirmation Students, and arrange baptismal baskets.

Faith Formation
Support and advise youth programs and adult education. Faith Formation oversees the calendar, curriculum, volunteers, and requirements for 4 year-old kindergarten through 8th Grade. In addition, Faith Formation oversees our Youth Group, 7th-12th Grade, along with fundraisers and trips they participate in.
The Faith Formation Team meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5 pm. Attend a team meeting to find out if the Faith Formation Team is right for you.

Stewardship
Enable us as stewards to increase our spiritual growth by using our time, talents, and treasures as God has provided. Activities include, yearly updated time and talent sheets, planning church outings, and an annual stewardship campaign to energize and strengthen our ministry at First American.
Stop by one of the Stewardship Team meetings to see if joining the Stewardship Team is right for you. The Stewardship Team meets on the second Monday of each month at 4:00 pm.
Worship
Help coordinate worship services and work with the Church Office Manager and Musician to add special music, worship environments, and themes.
The Worship Team meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6 pm. Attend a team meeting to find out if the Worship Team is right for you.
Finance
Prepare a budget that will be proposed to the Church Council and members of First American. Track the budget throughout the year and offer support to the Treasurer. Also, attend the annual budget question and answer session and annual meeting, both are scheduled in January.
The Finance Team meets as needed. If you're interested in joining this team, it would be best to contact the Church Office to get further meeting details.
