FIRST AMERICAN LUTHERAN CHURCH

Text Box: Welcome Guests and Visitors to First American Lutheran Church! We rejoice in your presence with us today. Help us to remember your visit by signing our guest book. Please share your name with those around you and with the pastor. Whether you are here for only one service or are seeking a permanent place to worship, please feel at home among us today!

Holy Communion: It is the invitation of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all baptized Christians are invited to feast at the Lord’s Table. Martin Luther reminds us that, “Holy Communion is the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ given with bread and wine, instituted by Christ himself for us to eat and drink. In this sacrament we receive forgiveness of sins, life, and salvation.” Those not prepared to receive the Sacrament may come forward for a blessing. We have celiac-friendly communion wafers. Please let Pastor know if you prefer these wafers.

Bread by the Bay needs the following items for the food pantry: Pancake Mix & Syrup, Flour and Sugars, Baking Supplies, Canned Vegetables, Fresh Fruits and Vegetables and Meat. These are merely suggestions- we appreciate all donations. Thank you. Waneta Reinhart

Help us organize our prayer List we are currently trying to organize our Prayer List in the church office.
Beginning July 1st we will publish a Prayer List using 3 categories—”Homebound/Shut-In”, “Help/Healing”, “Service Men & Women”.

Homebound/Shut-In will include anyone who for all practical purposes is unable to get out to attend church due to disability, age, etc.

Help/Healing will include anyone recovering from illness, surgery, etc. Those listed in the Help/Healing category will remain on the prayer list for two weeks. After two weeks the name will be removed unless the church office is notified that the individual desires to remain on the list for an additional two weeks.

Service Men & Women will include names of family members and friends serving in the armed forces. Our permission policy remains the same as above. Any questions please call the church office at 834-2460.

Thank You to Diane, Bonnie and Cathie, who have been putting time and effort into the landscaping around the church and parsonage, it looks wonderful!

HAVE YOU NOTICED? There is a fenced area by the garage for aluminum cans for the Youth Group. Anyone whishing to donate their aluminum cans can stop by and drop them off. Please place the bags inside the fenced area. Thank you Don.

Thank you to Eunice Breed for sewing new veils for the Communion Vessels.
